Brotherhood of the Jungle Cock Annual
Event
Each year, The 'Brotherhood of the Jungle Cock' and the 'Fly Fishers of Virginia'
co-sponsor a fishing and campfire gathering. What does this mean? It means
that FFV members along with BOJC members have the opportunity to share a fishing
day with a child. It means removing that guilt trip of not taking a child
fishing, the anxiety of a day alone with a child on a fishing trip, the dodging
of the neighborhood kid every time you leave to fish.
This function provides instruction in fly
fishing and casting, canoeing, fly tying, bait fishing, and other activities
related to fly fishing. It is a joint effort for you and the child together. We
also have free fishing time, a campfire ceremony, and a supreme meal at the end
of the day.
Call Ken Barnes, Steve lewis or Bill
Pearsall and help make this a successful event. You will go home
with a smile on your face!
