Remember this date – May 11, 2013!
Why?
It’s the Brotherhood of the Junglecock VA Chapter Campfire!
Why should you care?
It’s the FFV Youth Event the club supports.
How do you help?
You can come and bring a child. Now I know the
usual excuse – my children are grown—–but don’t you know a child in
your neighborhood or church that would love to have a day of fishing?
Bring them!!! You don’t have to do all the work–we have instructors
there to help.
This year we will return to Camp Brady Saunders Saturday, May 11,
2013. Our program will include fly tying, fly casting, fly fishing, spin
fishing, bait fishing, knot tying, lure identification and – last but not least
– an environmental aquatic program. After the Campfire ceremony,
there will be an excellent dinner served by Joanna Barnes and a raffle
where each child wins a prize.
When you leave at the end of the day you might be smiling as much as
the child — don’t forget that if we don’t teach children how to fish the
sport will die!
